How do I set up a study in Medrio at UC?
Several agreements and documentation are in place to facilitate a requisition initiation for Medrio in Bear Buy:

Is the Medrio platform secure?
Medrio is both HIPAA and 21 CFR Part 11 compliant. The BAA with the company includes specifications for the handling HIPAA data. Additionally UCSF undergoes an annual Risk Assessment with ITFS to ensure it meets University security standards.
Is there a cost involved to use Medrio?
Yes. Medrio is a fee for service platform, charged per study at a monthly rate. UC has negotiated a very favoriable rate for its use at the University (system wide).
